What to Expect
Welcome to the Chiropractic Wellness Cafe! If you’re coming in to see us for the first time, we’d like you to know exactly what to expect. We want you to feel at home and comfortable.
You’ll find that our staff is friendly, helpful and completely dedicated to your health and well-being. Upon booking your first appointment you will be emailed our digital intake forms which we ask for you to thoroughly fill out and send in before your appointment so the doctors can take that information as well as your Insight scans to create a care plan specific to you!
The first appointment you book with us will be with our Insight scan tech, Shannon, who will give you a tour of the office and perform three non-invasive neurological scans which will give us a deeper look at what is going on in your nervous system to help us know how to care for you best. (Scans are $25 per person.)
Our state-of-the-art scanning technology helps us assess the spine and nervous system and how it is functioning. Our Insight scanning evaluation is non-invasive and painless, (can be done on newborns, and pregnant women) and so dependable that it’s been certified by the Space Foundation to provide a reliable, scientifically valid and multidimensional representation of well-being.
There are five aspects to this specific testing:
- Neural Therm™ Scanner: assesses the function of the autonomic nervous system
- Pulse Wave Profiler: collects heart rate variability data
- sEMG Static/Dynamic: measures spinal muscle activity and energy expenditure
Once you book your initial scan appointment (expect about 20 minutes for an individual, 30 min for a couple, and 1 hour for a family) expect a phone call from the front desk for them to schedule your appointment with the doctor after your scans are complete.
After your scans and paperwork are complete, the doctor will meet with you at your scheduled appointment and will provide you with a comprehensive report of findings, which is a detailed explanation of your exam findings from the scan as well as your personal care recommendations. Any questions you may have will be addressed as well to ensure that you are empowered to make the absolute best decision for you and your family’s health moving forward!
Once we have given you our care recommendations you will receive your first adjustment!
NOTE: When booking your initial scan make sure you are choosing the correct appointment option. There is an individual appointment for one person, a couple appointment, and a family appointment for up to five people. If you are booking an appointment for more than five people, choose the family option and then call the office at 817-297-0880 so they can add additional time for your scans to be performed.
Initial Costs to Get Started
While we have a unique fee system that you can read about here, we do have initial fees to get started. These include your first appointment and scans as well. The first appointment will be your neurological scan which is $25 per person and will be paid at the time of that visit, and then at your first appointment with the doctor your fees for that visit are as follows:
- Individual: $75
- Couple: $125
- Family of 3 or more: $200
